Balance due: thirteen weeks before the start of the holiday

Payment can be by credit card or Interac transfer.  We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express.  

Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel your booking the following penalties apply.
Up to the date of final payment - loss of deposit.
Between 13 and 8 weeks prior   50% loss  
Within the last 8 weeks prior to the start  - penalty of 100%

If the holiday is cancelled by Teachers' Travel/HF Holidays  - full refund

Cancellation Insurance is recommended.

Teachers’ Travel Service Ltd sells Manulife Travel Insurance.  Before purchasing insurance you should check to see if you already have coverage as a benefit of your credit card.

Why is it called Teachers' Travel?
Our company was started in 1970 by a group of teachers. At first our clients were mostly teachers but over the years we have branched out and now people on our tours come from all professions.

What are our Office Hours?
Office hours are 9.00am - 5.00 pm EST Mon to Fri .

How many people are in the groups?
The ideal number is about 20.

Who goes on these walking tours?
Most of the participants are Canadians from all across Canada although sometimes a few Americans join us. Usually the groups are a mixture of singles and couples age 50 +.

Who are the guides?
The guides are professionals from Malta who are familiar with the history and culture.

How long has Walkers World / Teachers Travel been in business?
We have been in business since 1970. We are a full-service IATA agency licensed under the Ontario Government Travel Act for your financial protection. TICO (the Travel Industry Council of Ontario) is the regulatory body and their telephone number is 905-624-6241. Our registration number is 1185985. Consumers who book with a licensed TICO agent are protected financially.

How long has HF Holidays been in business?
HF Holidays is a well-regarded British organization that has been offering walking holidays since 1913. Teachers Travel has worked in collaboration with HF since 1988.

Living standards and practices at the destination and standards and conditions there with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ from those found in Canada.
