Where we Stay:
We spend seven nights in the beach town of Tolo located on the Peloponese peninsula of mainland Greece (about two hours from Athens). Built around the curve of a sheltered bay, Tolo has a long sandy beach with good swimming. A tempting array of open-air cafes and tavernas line the beach and there are more restaurants and shops in the town. The 4 star King Minos Hotel features stunning panoramic views of Tolo Bay. For those who want to swim, the beach is only 100 metres from the hotel or guests can enjoy a dip in the large outdoor pool. Seaview rooms have a balcony, air conditioning, satellite TV, minibar and hairdryer.

Where we Eat: Greece prides itself in its hospitality. Breakfast is a hearty buffet. Picnic lunches offer local specialties. In the evenings we dine at a variety of restaurants so you can enjoy traditional Greek food with always a choice of main course. Wine with dinner is included. |
