The Yorkshire Dales are located in North-Central
England not far from the Scottish border. The rugged Yorkshire Dales National
Park is rich in wild-flowers and waterfalls and is excellent hiking country. We
stay at lovely Malhamdale for a week of exploring this fabled region... the home
of the Brontes and James Herriot. On our walks we visit the graceful ruins of Bolton Abbey; Studley Royal Estate and its water gardens.
Guided walking holidays start Fridays from March - November.
Walkers stay at the same hotel for seven nights. Days start and
end with a short bus ride so the walks are in the most spectacular parts of the
island. Three different guided walks are offered each day. You choose
according to your fitness and ability.
