Guided Walking in Britain


Enjoy the splendid scenery of the Snowdonia National Park with the choice of up to three different guided walks each day. Walk in the spectacular mountains of Cadair Idris and Aran Fawddwy. When you are not walking you can marvel at Welsh spelling, enjoy a performance by a Welsh harpist, visit Harlech Castle or the seaside town of Barmouth.

2020 Seven night Guided Walking Holidays start on Fridays from March to October. Walkers stay at the same hotel for a week. Days start and end with a short bus ride so the walks are in the most spectacular parts of the island.  Three different guided walks are offered each day. You choose according to your fitness and ability.  

High Season prices start at  840 GBP per person based on double occupancy (approximately $1430 Cdn).
Non-member associate fee  10 GBP per person.
Single rooms with no single supplement are offered but with limited availability.

Walking: Each day there is a choice of three guided walks:
Easier walks        5.5 -  7 miles  Up to   1100 ft of ascent in a day
                 Medium walks    7 - 8.5 miles    Up to 2600 ft of ascent in a day
                 Harder walks       8 - 11.5 miles   Up to  2900 ft of ascent in a day.

DOLSERAU HALL offers comfort and quality.  The lounge, bar and dining room all offer peaceful spaces to relax after a day's activity.  The location, a couple of miles from the attractive market town of Dolgellau, is a real delight.  Extensive views stretch over the surrounding hills Non-smoking rooms have private bathroom, TV. wifi, hairdryer,.

All meals are included with a hot or cold breakfast buffet, a generous self-select picnic lunch and a hearty three-course evening meal. There is always a vegetarian option...
