Perfect for those with a real head for heights, this small island manages to squeeze in breathtaking barrancos, laurisilva forest and the wonderful Garajonay National Park. Stay at the Parador with its sea views and easy access to the tiny island capital of San Sebastian – Christopher Columbus’ stop off point en route to the Americas. There will also be time to explore traditional villages, and the option to reach the top of the island.
