Avignon to Aigues Mortes      Provence, France    2024
 
 
Two barges cruise weekly between Avignon and Aigues Mortes The trip takes seven days from Saturday to Saturday - then the barges return the following week from Aigues Mortes to Avignon. You can take the trip in either direction. 

Guests stay aboard for seven nights and enjoy guided cycling along quiet cycle paths and country roads. A leader cycles the route with the group and a van is available to assist in an emergency. For those who prefer to cycle independently, route descriptions are provided

There are two barges of similar comfort level

 Caprice  11 cabins  -  1 Single, 2 Double, 8 Twin
Each cabin has two fixed portholes (one is in the bathroom), air conditioning and en-suite facilities with shower area; plus ample closet space, a power socket and a full-length mirror.
The living area measures 12.50 x 4.10 m, is air-conditioned and it is divided into two areas - the restaurant and the lounge:
There is a sundeck with seating and a fixed awning for shade. There is free Wifi in the restaurant/bar areas.
 
 Estello  10 cabins   - 1 Double and 9 Twin
Each cabin has two fixed portholes (one is in the bathroom), is air-conditioned and has en-suite facilities.
The living area is air conditioned and divided into two areas - the restaurant and the bar. There is a sundeck with a fixed awning, tables and chairs. Free WiFi in the restaurant/bar area
 

All cabins have private ensuite with hairdryer, toilet and shower and are non smoking. All are air conditioned.

About the bicycles:
Touring bike 27-gear Shimano Deore has the following:
aluminium frame, mudguard, rear rack, comfort gel saddle, anti-puncture Schwalbe tyres, ergonomic bicycle grips, Speed Lifter system, cycle computer  Ortlieb one-sided saddlebag, 1 water bottle (0.75 l), 1 combination bike lock, helmet
