Prices are per person based on two people sharing a standard cabin . Single supplement in single cabin on Magnifique II $966 Cdn (single cabins are seldom available) Single supplement in a double cabin on Magnifique III or IV $1600 Cdn Upgrade to premium cabin on Magnifique I or Magnifique II (based on double) $500 Cdn per person Upgrade to Upper deck suite on Magnifique II, III or IV (based on double) $990 Cdn per person Included: Seven nights accommodation with private bathroom, 7 breakfasts, 6 packed lunches, 6 dinners, welcome drink, daily cleaning of cabin, 7 gear bicycle hire (with panniers and helmet), daily briefings, guided cycling programme with 2 guides, short walking tours, water bottle, fees for ferries, canal trip through Ghent, on board wifi, maps and notes re cycling. Not included: drinks, entrances to museums, transfers to/from Amsterdam or Bruges, gratuities (at your discretion), extra nights in Amsterdam or Bruges, bicycle insurance The bicycles are mostly unisex touring bicycles with normal mount (ladies model), 7 gears, hand and pedal brake, gel seat and a pannier bag. There are also some E-Bikes (on request) available at a surcharge. The E-bike is Kreidler Vitality P-200 Shimano with Nexus 7 gears, 3 support levels and hand breaks only. Supplement for ebike is $225 Cdn per week Helmets: In the Netherlands and Belgium cyclists are not obligated by law to wear a bike helmet but we strongly recommend that you do wear one. There are helmets available on board (free). Bicycle Insurance: Insurance is optional but if you choose not to take it you will be responsible for the the cost of the bike if it is damaged or stolen. Insurance for a regular bike costs 10 euros. Insurance for an ebike costs 25 euros. The bikes come with a lock so remember to lock your bike each time you leave it for sightseeing or restaurant stops. All interior sections of the barges including cabins are non-smoking. The barges can cater to most special diets but there is often a surcharge of 50 euros payable locally if it is necessary to purchase special food items. It is NOT possible to guarantee strict vegan menus. Guests should notify us of special dietary needs and allergies when booking. |
