Greece Booking Information:

To make a reservation:
A deposit of $1500 per person is due within 7 days of booking your trip. ($600 deposit if no flight is booked)
Final payment is due 8 weeks prior to departure.
Visa, American Express or Mastercard as well as cheques are accepted (There is a discount of $100 for final payments made by cheque).

Cancellation Charges:
Loss of deposit for cancellations up to 60 prior to departure.
100% non-refundable for cancellations between 60 days prior and the day of departure.

Trip Cancellation insurance:
It is advisable that you purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance for your trip as well as out of the country medical insurance. Trip cancellation insurance must be purchased at time of deposit. Please inquire about the cost of the different options. Teachers Travel sells Manulife travel insurance.

Tour prices: Tour prices are per person, based on two persons sharing a room. Single room supplements are available. Triple accommodation is not available.

Passports and visas: A valid passport which is required by Canadian citizens.

To book the add-on cruise an additional deposit of 20% of the cost of the cruise is necessary. Full payment for the cruise is due 45 days prior to departure.  Cancellation penalties on the cruise are as follows:
Prior to 45 days  - no penalty
45 - 31 days    20% loss
30 - 16 days    50% loss
15 - 8 days     75% loss
7 days or under 100% loss

Do I have to be a teacher?
No. Definitely not. Our escorted cultural tours are for people from all professions - not just teachers.

Why is it called Teachers Travel?
The company was founded in 1970 by a group of former teachers.

Can I buy just the tour without the airfare from Toronto?
Yes. We can sell just the land portion or we can book flights from other cities.

Can I fly in first class?
Our group flights are in economy class but often there are upgrades available at a surcharge.
