Teachers’ Travel Service Ltd. is a full-service IATA appointed travel agency licensed under the Ontario Government Travel agency act TICO for your financial protection. We have been in business since  1970. Our registration # is 118985.

Deposit necessary to hold a booking: 25%.
Balance due eight weeks prior to start of the holiday. 

Payments can be made by credit card, cheque or Interac bank transfer.

If you cancel your holiday the following charges will apply:
More the 60 days prior to start date - loss of deposit.
60 days prior to the start date - 100%

Equipment: Helmets are available to rent on some barges but not on others. Please inquire at the time of booking.
Helmets are not mandatory in Europe but we strongly recommend that you wear one. 

Bicycles are equipped with locks and panniers.  
We suggest you bring cycling gloves and rain gear.

Medical Insurance:  
Every participant should be covered by out-of-country medical insurance and should carry information with them about their insurance coverage.

Trip Cancellation Insurance: 
This is optional but we recommend that you purchase it.  Teachers' Travel sells Manulife Travel Insurance. Please ask us for a quote.

Guided Cycling:  
Although these tours are escorted, a guide cannot be with all participants at all times to warn them of hazards.   . 

Safety and Liability:
By making a booking you agree that Teachers’ Travel Service Ltd. and their associated tour operators 
will not be liable for any accident, illness, loss or damage to tour participants or their personal property. 
In any cycling or active holiday there is a minimum inherent risk and any participant must accept this risk as his own.
The tour guide and local tour operators will do their best to make a holiday as safe and comfortable as possible but there are some things which are beyond their control. Every participant should make himself aware of the local rules of the road and should obey these rules. 

Although the cycling excursions are escorted, a guide cannot be with all participants at all times.

Living standards and practices at the destination and standards and conditions there with respect to the 
provision of utilities, services and accommodation may differ from those found in Canada.
