Experience the mighty dunes of the Namib desert and see game in its natural habitat in Etosha National Park.

Guided Walks:  A good balance of walking, sightseeing and game drives. Walks are 5 - 6 miles with some ascent.

Included: 14 nights' accommodation, 12 en-suite hotel rooms plus 2 in wilderness camps.  All meals from dinner on arrival to breakfast on departure.  A full program of guided walks, led by a local guide..

Hotels:  Stay in 3 and 4-star hotels  all with swimming pools..  Two nights are in wilderness camps.
Itinerary:
 
Day 1: fly to Windhoek.

Day 2: arrive Windhoek (1nt). City tour and dinner at Joe’s Beerhouse.

Days 3-4: drive to the Namib desert. Spend 2 nights (1 lodge, 1 wilderness camp) in Sossusvlei. Walks and drives in the dunes.

Day 5: drive through spectacular scenery to our next overnight accommodation, the Rostock Ritz lodge (1nt). Enjoy a sundowner drive.

Days 6-7:  Pre-breakfast walk on the plains in search of wildlife, before driving to the coast for time at Swakopmund (2nts). Enjoy a night dune experience to see the night time creatures which inhabit the dunes. Visit Walvis Bay Lagoon and take a boat cruise in search of the big marine 5.

Days 8-9: to the Erongo mountain region for 2 nights (1 lodge, 1 camp). Walk up through the Boulder Forest and enjoy a morning hike in this stunning region followed by an afternoon walk to visit rock formations and thousand year old rock paintings. Enjoy a traditional braii at the wilderness camp.

Days 10-11: To Twyfelfontein to see ancient rock art, visit the Damara Living Museum and a petrified forest before arriving at your lodge (Huab lodge)  for 2 nights. Enjoy a sunrise walk with a further optional walk after breakfast and take a game drive in search of desert elephant.

Days 12-13: Visit a Himba tribal village en route to Etosha National Park (2nts). Optional afternoon game drive in open sided vehicles. Full day game drive in the west part of the park.

Day 14: full day in the east part of Etosha National Park. Arrival at Mokuti lodge (1nt) and time to relax or visit the Snake park.

Day 15: visit the Cheetah Conservation Fund at Otjiwarongo before arriving at our final lodge at Otjiwa. Optional game drive or rhino tracking or join your guide for a walk around the local dam to spot wildlife and birdlife.

Day 16: return to Windhoek Airport
