The Lofoten Islands are said to be one of the most beautiful island archipelagos in the world. During the week we visit beautiful lakes nestling amidst the mountains, walk along the coast offering the opportunities to spot sea eagles and whales, ascend a few of the smaller mountains and passes, visit charming fishing villages with their traditional ‘rorbu’ (fishermen’s cabins), and take the ferry to the neighbouring beautiful islands of Hadseloya and Skrova.

Prices are per person for one week based on double occupancy without flight.
Single room 406 GBP

Non-member associate fee is 10 GBP per person.

Included: 7  nights accommodation with private bath, breakfast and dinner daily, guided walking program with choice of walk each day.

Walking: Two levels of walking are offered each day.

  •     Harder Level walks    6– 10 miles.               up to 2700 ft of ascent over a day.
  •      Easier Level walks     4 - 7 miles with          up to 1100 ft of ascent over a day.

Hotel: The 3-star Hotel Scandic Svolvaer has a waterfront location and stands on an island, Lamholmen, in the heart of Svolvaer, surrounded by pristine waters and soaring mountain peaks. An eye-catching, boat-shaped building houses a restaurant and bar with panoramic views across the harbour
